Renewaball | Padel Balls Made from Recycled Materials

Conventional padel balls are a bouncing environmental disaster. They’re played with and quickly discarded. To change that, we started our tennis and padel ball recycling program. A portion of the collected balls is sent to Renewaball. The Dutch company turns them into new, eco-friendly balls. These not only play great, but can also be recycled again after use.

Clever: The old balls come, among others, from our padel ball recycling program and are collected by clubs across Switzerland, then sorted by us in Switzerland. Afterward, they’re processed using an innovative method into new, tournament-grade balls that meet the highest standards.

Sustainable: Renewaball is fully committed to recycling. The balls are made from over 25% recycled materials and are themselves fully recyclable. They also release no microplastics when played. Renewaball saves resources, reduces CO₂ emissions, and cuts down on rubber and felt waste in sports. In short: these balls are a well-rounded solution.

Inclusive: In Switzerland, Renewaball partners with the Tennis Ball Recycling Association. The collected balls are sorted at the social organization BAND – creating fair jobs for people with disabilities. This way, not only the environment and tennis fans benefit, but society as a whole.
